I saw at least one of the Thorney Island ospreys today - first on a post on the M.O.D. side of Great Deep and later, soaring over Emsworth with a buzzard.

Moffer  : I dont think it was our 2 as I would hope they were further east. Also I think that they would have mentioned if they were juveniles, I had this tweeted from a reliable source this morning:

"Two ospreys again on the saltmarsh sat on driftwood"

It is a lovely thought to think Cally and Alba will stick together on their travels as they did on and around the nest :)
