Here's someone moving - Erika (deep pink route) left her wintering site on the 29th Feb, and was level with Aswan on 2nd March.
The other colours are black storks, also heading back to Estonia.

SueC : Thanks for the update on Erika. I notice that last year she left her wintering place on 23/02 but did not arrive at her nest until 12/04. I seem to remember she had a long stopover.

Ok if you have a point then please make it. Are you saying that LG or the RSPB keep us waiting? I honestly think LG would like to know. I have an oppinion and if I want to say, I will let them know direct.

IF Sandra was saying that, she wouldn't be the first of us to do so. By contrast, Dyfi (particularly that I noticed) gathered and released info much more promptly.
