That female is pretty Scylla, and does look quite like EJ in that shot.

Still spots of rain keep appearing on the cam. I hope that Odin has had the chance to eat. Poor boy, returning with his fish, only to find another osprey displaying over HIS mate and nest. He didn't even get the chance to eat the head. That could be why he has been AWOL this afternoon.

18:54 Not sure what happened there - EJ got up with a squawk and flew off leaving the eggs for a brief period.

Yes, a pretty bird.  It would be nice to see her and EJ in the same colour palette.

Thanks for the reassurance, Moffer.  I wonder why she called so loudly before taking off - perhaps she was hoping Odin would appear?!

Yes the Estonian female is a dead ringer for EJ in that shot Cirrus.

Perhaps Odin escorted the intruder well off the premises and has been making sure he stays off. Hopefully he has gone fishing since.

Sorry Scylla and Cirrus. I've got my dumb blond head on since my PC went nuts :o(

Birdsong, I don't know why EJ sometimes does that . She only ever goes for less than a minute (for a loo break and stretch)

My mouse arm is aching like mad, am going to take time off - hope you can bind and gag the family, MOFFER ;-)  Very relieved you got your PC sorted :-)
