This is a first for me - I had this on screen from Carnyx page and realised I could copy the screen to the clipboard.

Update on facebook: LG staff think the intruder was unringed. They have also had a visit from the Springwatch team...

20.35 EJ returns

I've update the summary thread fro the day and willl finish off once EJ returns - I assume that will be nearer dark o'clock so probably not much else will happen after that.....

The RSPB staff said it WAS an unringed intruder . this is the message :- A busy day at The Osprey Centre today - intruding osprey and Springwatch! An unringed male took a passing fancy to EJ, but she was having none of it. Odin arrived in the nick of time with a fish and the intruder was seen disappearing into the distance.

A team from the BBC's Springwatch arrived too - keep an eye out for us during the next series!

I'm so sorry, but my video is mucked up. I am going for tonight guys. These 5am starts play havoc with the evenings. Thanks Lmac for doing a brilliant summary. Thanks Rachel and Valerie for the update on FB. I really went out on a limb earlier saying that it was a male, but thank goodness, on this occasion I was right.
