EJ looking very peaceful on the eggs at the moment.  Soon the first chick will having a cracking good time and LG will have the first new Osplet of 2012.

Hello Paul! I'm going to be around for about half an hour or so.

I forgot to thank patily for a very detailed summary, moffer for some splendid videos of the fish action, and birdsong for a couple of lovely shots of EJ, Odin, the fish and the eggs in the evening sunshine. Since it's now nearly half past midnight, I thought I had better post it on the new thread

Good summary from Patily - interesting fish scenario at the end of the day. Thanks everyone for all the updates. EJ does seem a bit restless.

I wonder if we'll hear any night time cheeps.  Perhaps EJ has recruited one  of the Chaffinches as part of a joke.  "Right, Chaffy.  Some of the humans watch at this time, so you just make the odd cheeping noise.  That'll get them going. Ha ha."

EJ has just got up for a bit of wingercizing, and is now back on the eggs

That's a pig scylla :-( I'm still trying to edit the asf streams properly under Linux. At this rate I will have to go back to the dreaded Windows ;-)
