I can just barely see him in the fog. He is on the far end of the branch on the right side under the nest .  He is almost out of picture range

Dopey head on today :o( Thank you all for the overnight posts and Heron for the second summary in two days. Who would like to do it today?

3 full and contented chicks, and a very vocal EJ as she takes a comfort break. :o))

I can't ever commit to summarise because of unreliabilitiy :-(

However, I just performed a fabulous service for us all ;-D  For myself, really, cos i had to know!  I've counted the servings in the second video, the first main feed.  This is VERY inaccurate because there's a freeze in the middle, had to skip it, and sometimes I couldn't tell who got the fishbit, but surely gives us a "ballpark" figure:

Number of beakfuls

Chick 1 = 25

Chick 2 = 27

Chick 3 = 15

EDIT, at first #1 got the lion's share, but eventually 2 and 3 caught up.  Assuming that #1 is the farthest chick.  EDIT AGAIN - #1 and #2 are looking more alike to me now.

Oh well done Scylla. I thought that #1 was the furthest away. Feed him first before he duffs anyone up, lol. #3 is catching up nicely, it's just lovely to watch. Are you doing the second feed vid Scylla?

I will be gone late this morning and this afternoon. I am 6 hours behind you so I can't do it today. 6 p.m your time is noon my time

Thanks scylla!  That is great information . #3 is really getting a lot of food  for such a young age.

Moffer I thought the same thing ! EJ feeds the trouble maker first  to keep peace on the nest LOL

Especially with the littlest one in front and and easy target for  #1's beak 

Now I can clearly see Odin standing  guard under the nest. Some noises were heard a couple of nights ago. I'll bet Odin is on Pine Martin watch :)
