So glad that the two chicks are ok. Watching Springwatch last night and they waited until the end of the programme to mention the ospreys I feared the worst.
Lynette Looking in and have been watching the live pics. Saw a glimpse of two live chicks and now read that they have been fed early this morning. That is fantastic news, lets just hope the glitch of yesterday is put behind and that they will continue to flourish. Monty has now left the nest and Norah is brooding her young. Wonderful quality pics coming through.

Nora brooding again now No sign of Monty
I too wondered why there was no mention of Nora and Monty until the end of Springwatch, very sad news but there are still 2 healthy chicks and they are being well fed. Thanks to all for comments and pics.

So pleased that both chicks have been fed. I feared more bad news when I checked earlier.

Norah has now flown off hopefully for a comfort break
and back she comes
settling down to brood her babes
Those chicks must be losing body heat, they haven't been properly brooded for a good half-hour.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
That's Monty, he's crouching over them, fiddling with the nest. I want to shout ' brood them properly, they're getting cold!!'
Oh, at last! He must have heard me!

Here's Nora back now.
It's Monty who's settling down on the chicks. Have they reversed roles and Nora's gone fishing? It's a while since the chicks were fed, and there's no fish on the nest.
