Looks calm and dry this morning, Nora dozing;Ceulan beside her, tucked down and fast asleep
Morning all.
Monty and Nora on the perch and post, Ceulan stretching her wings.

If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Thanks Sandra for those captures. Looks like little one is growing up fast. At present hunkered down and sleeping. Its now raised its head and just watching.

Hi all - Thank you to Sandra and Lynette for the pics.
Do they plan to ring or tag this chick?

Afternoon all! Thanks to Lynette, and as always Sandra for the marvellous pictures, and everyone for the updates. As 'young Mr Grace' used to say: "You've all done very well" :-)

Hi Starling, I've just read the latest blog on the website, and it seems they will definitely tag Ceulan if the weather allows, and possibly fit a tracker if he/she is in good condition (which looks likely to me). The blog entry is well worth a read - well written and informative as usual, with a couple of nice video clips. Interesting information about Nora's aggression towards Monty, especially the 'flounder theory'!
Is anyone else having trouble getting the live stream to work today? I'm just off to their Facebook page to see if any issues have been reported.....
Dyfi not working for me either.
Thank you Robert the Bruce, I will have a look.
From the Dyfi Facebook page:
"15:00 We have been experiencing electrical surges all day and the electricity to the nest has finally gone. For those watching the live cameras, we'll have you up and running as soon as we get power back!"
Tweet from Dyfi:
"Sorry for the temporary loss of live streaming. The power was switched off for a brief period. Should now be up and running as normal."
Thanks Diane, I looked it up on Facebook then went away to do something else and forgot to post an update :-/
And thanks Alan, it is now working :-)
Has there just been a feed? Nora seems to be picking up scraps from the nest. Ceulan is preening, again
Ceulan standing up tall and strong at the back of the nest. I can't tell if there's dark nest material or whether he is standing on a flat fish!!!! Nora came in with a big stick to add to the barricade I think Ceulan would have liked to get under her, but she flew off. Interesting stats and info on Monty's fishing on FB
Here is a little sleepy head. :-)

Sandra: I'm pretty sure that Ceulan is a female, what do you think?
