Just starting things off - will look back in later.
All quiet on the nest; EJ snoozing.
Thanks for starting the thread, Annettte.
One of the chicks quietly calling.
EJ flies off for a break, then returns. She then settles back down on the massive chicks.
It's raining! Well at least the lense is getting a wash :-)
The rain's just about stopped now, only a few blobs of water left. Hang on a minute. It's found reinforcements. Really needs to be a heavy drizzle to clean the cam. These big blobs probably won't get the job done.
Getting quite light at LG. EJ is awake and on her bood. The weather seems fairly dry, and the dawn chorus should be kicking off in a fairly short time :-)
Think I'll head off to roost now. EJ looking a bit sleepy, and I'm starting to feel the same way.
Happy watching everyone :-)
Good night Paul
Hi Annette if you are still around.
Day Cam on
It looks like the rain "spread" an even layer of "chick poo" on the camera lens so it may be a little easier to see things today.
As I was typing the Cuckoo started calling and I burst into laughter!! It sounded like the Cuckoo was saying " Chick Poo--Chick Poo-- Chick Poo" LOL
This is what too may late nights will do to me Wheeee!
The 3 bairns are restless under EJ.
EJ took two very brief fly arounds.
Here are the LITTLE ones today
EJ is struggling to get them all under her and they are too young for her to leave them and sit in a tree.
EJ had been closing her eyes trying to take a little nap
This day is starting slow and the light rain has now added streaks again to the camera lens. :(
All still quiet on the nest
Evening Barbara: Where's Scylla et al? Usually there's a mob of people on here at night. Are they all snoozing in preparation for the Jubilee celebrations?
LG cam looks pretty smeary right now. I'm going to pop over to LoTL and see what's going on there.
