DAILY UPDATE (Loch Garten nest) Thursday 7 June 2012

Starting a new thread with tears in my eyes because HERON has gone to sleep :o  What shall we do without him?  I'm probably dropping off soon too.

Odin was truly magnificent for a lot of the very wet yesterday, but a prankster in the evening when he brought a sod (as MARY said) to the nest, EJ and the chicks were so disappointed, as were we, having announced a fish delivery with our usual enthusiasm ::)

We are so lucky, what strong, healthy, feisty, gorgeous chicks we have :-*

Ooh I say, I'm here alone! EJ is trying to sleep but chicks have the fidgets. It's not raining now, hooray. Cam just went off but back on now.

The chicks have settled and EJ is getting some sleep.

It's starting to get light already! EJ has changed positions but is sleeping again.
