Hi, Having read quite a few comments on the subject, can I be so bold as to put a suggestion forward to The RSPB. In Africa the White Rhino is being lost at an alarming rate.(although for different reasons) The WWT have the powers to "go in" rescue and relocate these animals, The RSPCA have the powers to save the life of a grey suirrel for instance. A pest and threat to our own Reds.A feral cat can also be "rescued" by them. Why then can the RSPB not get a change in the law with regards to "interfering" with protected birds? After all it has been said before that what happened at Dyfi was in fact a wildlife RESCUE. It must have been a sad day when the Dyfi Project got their wrist slapped for helping to look after the nest by reporting trespass by a gang of youths. I am sure that this would get a lot of support from members, and don't forget we got DEFFRA to change their minds. I was so insenced at the the time< I sent an email directly to the minister (and it was not returned by MAILER DEAMON) It's time to stand up for nature and get the mamby pamby Law Makers to realise the differences
