Sorry I have not been around much today June (especially as I said I would keep you company), I have been getting ready for setting off tomorrow. I will be staying at a Club Caravan Site that I have now found out is one of B&B's favourites, and she said if she comes back down that way she may come and join us (well I can just see our hubby's eyes glazing over right now) if we two get together and start talking "Osprey's" LOL
This is the view that I took when we were up there last year. So you can see why she loves it. Just hope the weather wiil be as good as last year but I doubt it.

Keith Rogers On this day can I say one thing - I went to three concerts whilst on my last visit in May and on each of the three concerts before the concert started an announcer said can members and ex members of the armed forces and those of our allies stand - I did along with many and the whole arena applauded. - So proud.

Keith what a momentous moment, and how lovely that they would announce such a thing at those concerts. No wonder you were proud!!!
Lowry Hi Keith,Andy Murray through brilliant. Hope the chicks wait until your visit at the weekend.

Lowry I know I know, believe me I am so proud of any sports person and even the football/rugby etc too, but I cannot bare to watch especially if they get beat, so I take the cowards way out and not watch and get a wonderful surprise if they win Ha Ha....
That's a great excuse Mary, and you are going on holiday as well, looks a lovely scenic place.

When I was younger I was up there shouting with the rest of them, now I am older and cannot take the stress LOLOL...
It is a lovely spot but the weather forecast isnt looking too good for the next week, hey ho, no problem I take it as it comes, no point in bothering about it, as there is nothing we can do to change it. We just do what we normally do rain or not!!!
Yes not a good forecast again, rain and more rain, like you say nothing we can do about it,you will still enjoy it.
Yes then after that only home for a few days then its up to Loch Garten, so have that to look forward to as well, by that time hopefully Caledonia and Alba will be flying around a bit so hope to see that. My goldies are still in the garden, so pleased and glad that have made arrangements to make sure they dont go without their Nyger & Sunflower hearts when we are away! Even had a Siskin this morning, first time ever, so I am very happy...
Glad the Goldfinch are still coming to your garden, not had a Siskin here for years we are getting lots of Chaffinch this year.
Lowry Its really strange we used to always get chaffinches but not getting so many this last wee while. Plenty Dunnocks, Sparrows, and Starlings too, they are so bossy sometimes frighten the smaller birds away, get lots of Woodpigeons too we call them the hoovers because they just eat everything in sight, I am always out rearranging feeders etc etc in the hope that they cannot get to the different things but they always manage LOL.... I like the Blackbirds they sit on the roof and serenade me with their song, Love It...
Mary GK & Lowry My neighbour has been feeding goldfinches for a few years now, I don't get any because I don't have niger seeds out. Not many chaffinches, greenfinches or dunnocks for me this year, only sparrows, starlings, pigeons, jackdaws, and a cheeky crow who lifts my fat ball feeder off, trails it along the ground till the fatballs fall out, then takes them to the bird bath. I keep trying to outwit it, but no success so far!
Have a good holiday Mary GK"

Mary I don't mind the Wood Pigeons but we have feral pigeons that are the hoovers and we have plenty of Blackbirds here and young ones, not seen the Robin for a while.
Hi Starling, bet that's a sight the Crow with the fat ball feeder.
LOL yes it is funny, but costing me a small fortune. I had a robin yesterday strangely enough, I usually only see them nearer the end of summer.
