Another day, another opportunity to watch the comings and goings of our osprey family. With migration looming, the season is drawing to a close. How long before EJ leaves us?
"Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not too sure about the universe..." - Albert Einstein
ENS, with the sound of 'crawly things' on the microphone, which is probably the ground one. There is a light breeze, but no rain by the sound of it.
Roosting time for me. Hopefully I shall be around tomorrow morning, although getting up for osprey breakfast time is highly unlikely! Goodnight.
Morning all :o) Thank you RtB for starting the day.
Day cam on 05.20. All is quiet.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
05:20 Day cam on
Sound is still crackly - let's hope it sorts itself out today.
Snap, Moffer. My image is saved straight from still cam - yours is definitely the clearer image.
One of the girls has flown in and landed on the RHS.
Juv calling on nest already - sound hardly there :-(
(Image deleted - same as Moffer's)
Is this a hungry Alba? Blue44 is already happily tucking into his breakfast.
Still there and still calling
Someone has just flown away from the nest, but juv still there. Perhaps a parent gone fishing. Juv is quiet now.
5.31 fly-in and 5.38 someone leaves (with the middle bit cut out)
Still there and waiting
Juv has started to call again. I still can't be sure which one, but I think it's Alba
I think that it must be Alba. She is still there waiting, for an hour now.
G'Morning MOFFER & BIRDSONG Poor Alba must be starving Harsh lesson yesterday after all the fish the girls had had from EJ previously
Morning, Patily. Glad you caught clip of another osprey visiting nest, Moffer - at least Alba isn't all alone but it might be a rival for any incoming fish! (Just seen Mars craft has landed safely.)
