The days fly past as ever and one wonders how many days it will be before the ospreys head south for another year. Cally reaches 83 days today and this is beginning to enter prime migration territory. Going by previous statistics it would seem that both juveniles could easily be gone in a week. But then each osprey is different.
When did a juvenile last spend the night on the nest? It seems ages ago.

Thanks, Tiger :-) Yes, it does seem ages ago that a juvie slept on the nest.
Make the most of a decent picture ;-)
Unless there is action very soon I shall not be posting again for lots of hours.

They heard me - juvie on nest screeching, still tinnily ;-)
Someone's just arrived. Not sure who - somebody looking for food by the looks of it.
Gone quiet.
Daycam on 0524hr.
Day cam on. I'm back from France and it looks like Cally shouting for fish to me. :))

Hi scylla! :-* It's been ages and it seems they have only gotten larger!And...more entitled!
CC/Scylla: Hi to you both.
CC: Where you on vacation? Where did you go? (Off-topic I know, but heaven knows not much is going on.....)
To France for a memorial of a friend, Rhone-Alps. The 4 days in Paris! :)
It's Cally, I can read the leg-ring, gosh! ;-D
That they were bobbleheads only 3 months ago seems inconceivable at this point.
Thanks Scylla - I'm amazed I can get an ID after 2 weeks! The beaks seem to open impossibly wide while shouting! :)
Oops - off the nest!
Stills for those in a hurry:
