This is a celebration of life, for all of your fond memories - whether 'missing in action' or otherwise. I'm starting this off with my very special favorite, little 'Bravery' (chick 3 LG nest 2012).
Here he is, deciding to abandon nestoration to take a good look at his domain
This will probably surprise people but for her Level head and calmness. I think sadly the most overlooked in the shaddow of her brother Bynack. I still have hope for her and Bynack and others..
I have pinched this pic Moffer posted just before she left on migration. A Lovely capture. Hope it is ok Moffer.
Thank you mims .... this is a special little chick who will Never be forgotten and will always have a home in my broken heart... with all the others MIA.

Does anyone have a photo of Henry to post here please.

Henry's second egg kicking episode.
A somewhat confused report.
Thank you Tiger. Henry was my first male Osprey love. His sky dancing and fishing prowess was second to none.
These are the no-named 2010 but my first year and always a wonderful memory and funny also the second video.
Chick 1 fledges and long so cut off after the fledge and watch the 2nd. Wonderful and wonder how they are now :) Special to me

Those 2010 vids are lovely, B&B - the fledging juvie helicoptered into flight, then took out a feather or two with its crash-landing from the campost ;-D And as a bonus, EJ the Phenomenal is defending vigorously.
I was going to save the beautiful capture of Tore but thought I should already have it and I do. I often thought it was a shame that Tore was overshadowed in people's affections by Bynack, but he was just so attention-grabbing, in the nicest (and loudest) possible way ;-) I dearly loved them both.
Am so sorry that I didn't know Henry, but at least it's one fewer to mourn - there are three RIP birds already (accepting the official view) in my short LG history. Still feel sad that he didn't return though, he was a helluvan osprey dad by all accounts.
MIMS, emotions are still too raw to watch your video of #3, I well up even to type the number. You were right to post it, little #3 will never be forgotten :'(

Thank you B&B for the vids of 2010 chicks - it made me lol as my imagination ran riot, and I imagined them ducking, not because of an intruder, but because of the newly fledged chick about to land on their heads! The second one gave me a good giggle too - a much needed one at this time :-))
TIGER I've just watched the video of Henry (egg kicking) - it is fascinating!!!!! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry....:-) Thank you for posting it. and the lovely pics of Henry also. I wasn't around then but have heard his name mentioned more than once and it's good to 'see' him.
mims Henry was a fantastic osprey. His only fault was to spend too long on his African holidays and be paired with an early returning female.
Marvellous Mallachie - never will be forgotten
