Hi moffer, Sheila, RtB, Limpy, Lmac, Brenda and margot!
I'll try not to make you blub, patily - but it was a great end-of-season summary. I agree that Caledonia and Alba seemed closer than regular siblings in the end, though Cally certainly did not hesitate to quell Alba's upstart tendencies earlier on. They did all leave almost at the same time this year! I look forward to GE reports.

Hi CC nice to see you on here.
Learning more every day about the bird heaven I live in.
Hello RtB and CC, and of course everyone else I've already said that to today!! Today's thread feels a bit like the end of the School Term, doing everything except the specific topic! But hey, it is just that! I think it was either SCYLLA or MOFFER who said yesterday we should keep this going until we get confirmation from the Centre that Odin and the girls have actually gone.
It just strikes me that we have all got on so well and provided excellent reporting around the clock. Between us we have a pretty comprehensive review of the season with minute-by-minute reports, pictures and excellent videos without which some scenarios would have been impossible to fathom!
EJ's Biography
Hi Sheila thanks for letting me know yesterday when the osps were last seen so i hope they all have a safe journey and a safe return for ej and odin next year

lg stats
I wonder if the abnormally hot weather on the Continent will see any of the Scottish juveniles over-winter there instead of continuing to Africa?
Oh the nest has been left in a mess. I wonder if EJ will have a bone (that is a fish bone ) to pick with Odin on their return next year.
I just wanted to say thank you to you all for all the wonderful updates, comments, pics and videos this season! I guess there's a lot of us out here who do not actively contribute to the Daily Update, but who read it avidly! Thank you one and all. Here's looking forward to following the girls southwards.
Thank you Sheila. Try joining in next year. The more the merrier, particularly when the action gets really frantic!!
I think that it's a poor show, when we have no word from the source today either via the blog or FB. We the dedicated few, who have watched constantly for 5 months. Lets hope that GE updates soon,

Has Odin been seen today at all, I wonder?
I have been recording Valc, and he has not been near the nest. That is why I am appalled that the VC has not made a comment on the blog, even if it is only to say, no sign of Odin so far today.
So there is no sign of Odin then? Wonder if he is just at his usual fishing post, or whether the weather made him feel like setting off on his holidays, too.
Nice to hear from SHEILA who does not usually join in - you must put in a word or two next year, you will be very welcome Sheila.
I keep checking GE, but no change as yet.
SheilaFEthis sounds quite pleasant to me.
I can't visit that site, my TalkTalk "Homesafe" says there's a virus :-/ I've written to them complaining in no uncertain terms!
I've asked on the blog if there's been any sighting of Odin today.
LIMPY, Odin was still around yesterday so I started a new DU. If he hasn't been seen today, that will be IT! :'(
We haven't seen much of little birds on the nest this season, so this morning's visits may be a sign that they know the house is unoccupied.

SCYLLA We will have to have DU tomorrow if we have no definite news of Odin from the centry.....seen or otherwise
