I hope that Laddie and Lewis are still with us when SWT gets the cam working soon. It would be so sad to think that they might have gone when the cam was down! I would love to see little Lewis one more time.

Not until migration actually takes place. Surely Blue 44 must go soon?  Mind you they said that about  Ozwald (Roy Dennis tracked bird) last year and he stayed and stayed.

Kate2 I did hesitate before making that chart. I wanted to make a migration chart for LOTL but didn't want to leave Blue 44 out altogether, hence me doing what I did. It would entail me having to make a new chart every day to be more accurate. Surely it can't be long now....can it? LOL perhaps I should make daily charts :)

Lewis is taking his time, isn't he?  103 days is a more typical age for a Welsh bird to migrate - the Scottish ones are usually about 10 days earlier.

Ok this is definitely the last LOTL migration chart until he fledges! :)

I feel down about not not knowing if 44 has gone or not.

Did anyone see episode  2 of Parade's End on Friday?  I missed the first episode but there is a scene in the seceond where 'he' and 'her' are gazing skyward and 'he' says   ''It's a fish eagle''.  Nonesense of course !  :)  when the camera shows the viewers the bird , it is, of course :)  an OSPREY
