If you're at a bit of a loss how to keep the kids entertained this week, why not bring them along to do some art activities at Mersehead? They can make a snapper or flapper or just do some good old colouring in! All activities are free and will be taking place in the Visitor Centre 11am- 4pm every day this week. Then on Friday we have another Star gazing event with Dumfries Astronomy Society. The event will be on 6.30-8.30pm. Despite cloudy weather we had 30 people come along to our last Star gazing event last month and they enjoyed a talk by the Astronomy Society. However this time we are keeping fingers and toes crossed for a clear night so we can get out and do some star spotting.
This week also sees a week of events to celebrate "Wild Winter" a variety of events run by different organisations at different venues across Dumfries and Galloway to celebrate what an amazing region we have for wildlife!
