Great shots of a very VERY skulking bird. I was over the moon when I finally managed to photograph one on my local patch in 2010 - sadly they disappeared during the cold winter.
Galatas, they are quite Wren-like in behaviour and lifestyle, and I guess the similar appearance thing is down to some convergent evolution as they are not closely related. The wren family (Troglodytidae) is mainly American with only one species making it to Eurasia, while the family to which Cetti's Warbler belongs (Cettiidae) is mainly concentrated in Africa and Asia.
