I believe this is a newly fledged Wheatear, seen at Mull of Galloway.
Yes, I think you're right Anne - it's looking very cute and a bit awkward. We have at least 2 breeding pairs of wheatears here, and they are very often seen perching on the 'danger, cliffs' signs!
