Last visit to Freiston Shore today before heading back to Wales tomorrow via Frampton Marshes ... Highlight of the day was the Little Egret coming right up to the hide and catching fish. Never been so close to one before!

Thank you Osprey. ;o)
I still post on the main message board from time to time, but time constraints means it's not as much as I like too any more. I write blogs on the RSPB We Love Wales part of the community pages if you care to have a look (stick "we love wales" in the search box up the top).
I dreamt I took the Barn Owl picture properly last night! I was walking up the ridge to where the Barn Owls would possibly be, I wasn't expecting it to be waiting for me! I was switching the camera on, so I didn't notice it before I was too close! Ho hum ... watched it fly all the way down that ditch, which was brilliant. Always happy to see something first, getting a photo is a nice bonus!
Thank you everybody else for the kind comments! ;o)
Really happy with these photos, some of the best I have taken since I got the new camera. Finally getting to grips with it.
Nice photos :) That's the way to spend a Sunday
