Good news indeed, I have only ever seen one in this countryand that was flying away and landing in an area I could no longer see it. Hope you dont mind but I have put the link in again for you as yours was not working?

Earlier in the year we were at Ham Wall RSPB on the Avalon Marshes in Somerset not far from Glastonbury and saw 5 Great White Egrets in the air at the same time, we try to get there a few times a year as the birding there can be a bit special
