I've spent the past few weeks getting really excited that my favourite wildlife spectacle was getting nearer and nearer. What's my favourite spectacle, I hear you ask? It's the boxing brown hares.

They usually begin their descent into madness towards the end of February and early March, so we we're quite excited to see that some of them had started on round one yesterday. I wasn't quite lucky enough to see them; some visitors spotted them out on the wet grassland.
