The importance of feeding garden birds, especially during winter, can never be underestimated.
As many of you may know teasels are a fantastic source of food for one of the garden favourites, goldfinches.
But what do you do when the goldfinches have teased out all the seeds from your teasels?
Well, you just fill them up again - it's that simple.
Pour some small seeds such as sunflower seeds, or niger seeds in to the teasels and the spikes of the teasels will hold them in place. Once the goldfinches have cottoned on, you'll have them flocking back to your teasels like a charm.
Good luck.
