Mousa's flowers are coming into bloom. Violets, moss campion, bog bean, spring squill, primroses, heath-spotted orchid, tormentil and even a woodland of creeping willow (easy to miss them though, as they are only a couple of inches tall).

We had just flown in to Sumbergh, donned our wet weather gear and went straight to this Puffin colony nearby. We were rewarded by a fantastic sight of thousands of Puffins.

Gannets!

We visited this Gannetry on one of the many boats that were for hire. The sight of thousands upon thousands of them flying, diving, nesting etc was truly awe-inspiring and was one of the most memorable sights of my visit.

I had to lie flat on my stomach to get this shot but I thought the diverse amount of flowers was amazing!
