    From the marina, in the creek this morning was a sinle bar-tailed godwit along with a dozen black-tailed godwits. A spotted redshank, a ruff and two avocets. The wintering chiffchaff was seen in the hedgerow to your right as you enter the park.

    Iceland gull - there was a first-winter bird on the scrape at Wat Tyler yesterday afternoon, viewable from the hide. Also a bar-tailed godwit was reported on Vange Marsh.
