Sunday 11 March 11 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 6 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 28 Curlew (Wet grassland ), 1 Green Sandpiper (Heard), 3 Short-eared Owl (On Bowers viewed from seawall, 2 in air together being mobbed by crow with 3rd sat on fencepost.), 1 Cetti's Warbler (Heard).

Disappointingly (although not surprisingly), no sign of the Black-winged Stilts today. Highlight today included: West Canvey 1 Mediterranean Gull (adult) 1 Egyptian Goose (on the reservoir) Vange Marsh 8 Wood Sandpipers 3 Greenshank 5 Spotted Redshank 4 Common Tern 10 Swift 6 Whimbrel (over early morning...
