Yesterday was 'Thatcham Fun Day' in the Broadway, in the Centre of Thatcham.

Alongside the Market, there were stalls full of fun things to do and see, and create! Next to the RSPB stand we had Fairtrade and Veolia Recycling, which was wonderful! It was such a lovely, family atmosphere, and we got to watch circus skills, face painting and even meet the town mascot, CYRIL SQUIRREL! We showed him our lovely new red squirrel pin badge and he couldn't say no!

The mayor was there too, and many photographers from Thatcham and Newbury Photography Club (photos shown are by Norman Jones) and the Newbury Weekly News. We even managed to avoid the rain, and it was definitely a fun day, and a lot less muddy than Reading Festival I'm sure!!

Let me know if you were there, and if you had a good day, or won any prizes on the treasure hunts!
