We had an even more eventful weekend than usual! Firstly, we were just going to put up the marquee's for the Pantaloons Friday evening performance of The Importance of Being Ernest , when I received an urgent call from them to say that one of the cast members was very ill and they'd have to cancel the show! We spent the rest of the afternoon trying to phone everybody on our list to inform them, and then waited for the people who were just going to turn up on the night to break the bad news to them.The rest of the shows did go ahead ,luckily missing the worst of the storms in the area although we did have the odd heavy shower.The Pantaloons were as great as ever, they'll be back next year with performances of Sherlock Holmes and A Midsummer Night's Dream, but before that, we have booked Sandy Upper School theatre on December 15th for a performance of A Christmas Carol...more details to follow soon!
