Today marks the start of our summer activity for families, Bug Quest. These are fun sessions, getting kids hands-on with nature, looking for some of the smaller residents of the wood. Spiders, beetles, earwigs, slugs and snails. All live out there and we'll be going out to find them.
Sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday through the summer holidays, from now until 1 September. The sessions start at 10:30 and last until noon. It really is lots of fun. It might be meant for the kids, but often we find adults getting involved too!
Places do book up quite quickly, so we advise you secure your place by calling the centre on 01780 444691. Places are £4 per child, £2 per accompanying adult. RSPB members are half price. And if you aren't a member but join on the day, you can do it for free!
