Today some of the team took a little trip along the road to our friends at RSPB Frampton Marsh. This lovely reserve on the Lincolnshire Washes is a great place. Fairly new, it is developing all the time and will become an absolutely cracking place for birds.
So why were we there?
Well, we have decided to start doing 'Optics Roadshows'. Taking binoculars and telescopes out of the shop and into the field. This way people can see how they truely perform, helping them make a decision on what to buy.
We had a great day talking to all the visitors at Frampton Marsh and showing all our wares. From binoculars for under £50 (and I do have to say i am very impressed with these, the 'Puffin' model) right up to Swarovski telescopes costing.... well, just a bit more! The marsh harrier and spoonbill were added bonuses!
Thank you to Simon and Carolyn from Frampton for looking after us, and we hope to come back again soon. Next time we are out is 4 September at Middleton Lakes.
