Just to say that due to the very high winds we won't be on site at Troup Head tomorrow afternoon. We will be on site at Troup on Tuesday evening from 6pm-8pm and we will try to fit another Sunday afternoon visit in before the end of the season.
Emma will be doing the gannet chick count in the next week or so and we'll update you on how the gannets breeding season has been getting on as soon as we've added all the figures up.
I saw an Asian couple coming back to the carpark as I got there and only one other intrepid person perched in a wee hollow near the edge with her waterproofs and a camera. Good shots I'd imagine of the gannets, especially using the wind right near the edge.
I wish in a way I'd read this again on Saturday, I did check the times earlier, however I did see Bonxies from the mainland for the 1st time ever so I can't really complain! It helped cure my hangover too, that and the chips from the Dolphin chipper in MacDuff. Wasn't sure about the radioactive colour of the mushy peas though!
