I am 99% sure I have just seen a Snowy Owl. I am on the N.East coast just below Wick. I was walking my dogs on the shore line and there are cliffs with moorland to my right, I looked up and a Snowy flew parallel to me. I coudn't believe my eyes.

There was a flock of waxwings in our street and as I had never seen them before I was amazed to see so many at once. They appeared every day for about a week and eventually landed on the tree just outside my garden - I took loads of photos.

In New Zealand we were driving in a remote road in the mountains, as we turned on a bend was a bird of prey with a newly killed rabbit right in the middle of the road then he flew off with his prize

walking down the garden path I became aware of a flurry of activity in the pear tree. There were about 15 long-tailed ***, squeaking, tumbling, twirling in an acrobatic mass as they attacked nuts in the holder. Then, they went in a flash of feathers

I recently bought an additional seed feeder ,and for the first time, some sunflower heart seeds.I have never been so amazed as to the number of goldfinches that it has attracted. I spotted 11 of them one day. They are also coming up close to the house

I was walking through Yateley Park in Hants when this Kestrel flew down on to the post of a fence. He sat quite still as I edged as near as I dare to take this photo. I was so amazed and I’d like to share this moment of joy with you
