Close observation, this is my innocent look!

Another frame full of flowers. I thought I had better give them their full name as most people will be asking "what on earth are those flowers"? Yet another shot straight form my trusty old FujiFilm S5600.

This is a shot of some lovely red lilies filling the full frame. They have an almost surreal appearance. This shot exactly as it came from the camera. Again, using my FujiFilm S5600.

This poppy looks likes tissue paper, contasting with the green foliage. This shot was taken just after the rain using a FujiFilm S5600.

This was taken at Otmoor, this Charm of gold finches is the essence of Autumn. They were feeding of the seeds and the low autumnal light really enhanced their colours. So I thought it would be an idea if it would be good enough for the calendar.

I took this in a wildflower meadow near my home while looking for butterflies - it is now in a frame on my lounge wall, mine forever !

Here's a rough outline of what to do and when and where- British weather depending. Feel free to add to it J- Winter estuaries for waders and raptors, garden feeder time. F- Winter geese, grebes on reservoirs- clean out that nestbox. M- early migrants, A- Summer visitors singing...
