RSPB Greylake nature reserve, a region of the Somerset levels, was the location for this picture of wildfowl, enjoying a lazy afternoon in the early spring sunshine.

I visited some fields in Somerset reknowned for their abundance of butterflies and after a few hours photographing, I was rewarded with this great macro shot of a female Meadow Brown butterfly posing on a thistle.
