i am still happily feeding bird seed variations to my garden visitors but would like any advice on trying some natural foods? i have been given lots of ideas like bacon and meat roast fat strips, obviously bread and others.....anyone got anything they`ve tried and had luck with? someone recently told...

long tailed tits surprised me, mr williams again, coal tit seems to be here everyday lately, house sparrow waiting for hubby to get home lol and roly mo the pigeon doesn`t understand that the food isn`t on the roof of the bird table LOL

today i went to Old Moor and was barely able to get any decent pictures of anything.....i was sat in Tree Sparrow Garden and the heavens started to open.....the following photos are blurry but recognisable. there were a couple of decent 1s but only of a pheasant, a coot and a bullfinches backside lol...

birds in my garden today 17.03.2013 were mr williams (our robin lol), female AND male chaffinches, coal tit, our pretty little dunnock again and of course the goldfinches lol. (remember i`m still learning to take pics lol) xxx

we are going to be using this spot for a raised pond, any tips of things to include in or around it? its at the side garden on the right side of our house, next to the sheds and it gets quite a bit of sun during summer..x thanks xx
