My osprey addiction began in 2008 on my UK holiday when I visited Loch of the Lowes (by chance) and Loch Garten (as planned). On my return home I watched the webcam, read the blogs, followed Google Earth. This year it has been a joy to follow the ups and downs from the beginning.

On BBC News this evening we were treated to a quick look at the Worlds Longest Golf Course - could take 5days+ to play!!

Link to read if you are interested is   http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/8319749.stm

On the same page there may be a link to a visual report also.

Love hearing about your wildlife - Was in Australia for extended holiday and returned  just over 2 years ago. Loved all the birds, but my smallish camera couldn't do justice to the colours as I couldn't get close enough to get large photos (and yes I did try the Zoom!!)

Hey AQ: My! That's some list. I'll print it out and check some of those books out. Many thanks. Please don't put a lot of time into this - after all, you have a life to live. :-)

Hi AQ! Just wanted to say I'll miss the late-night chats with you and Diane in Indiana now that the birds have gone and there's no good reason to stay up so late (though I have had the nest up this evening out of habit!)  Take care!

Hello, Aquilareen.  It's always good to see people from the other side of the world joining us.  (tho I think you have been following us for a while). You have such exotic looking birds there, we can't compete for colour except for the kingfisher and the woodpecker!
