I haven't updated yet!
Hi Liz. I've only just caught up your post on My Page. Thanks for the golf course report - I had only seen something in our news about crows stealing the golf balls !!! I don't zoom too much when taking photos anymore as I sh-sh-sh-a-ake so much :-) Our daughter showed me how to crop the photos so it looks as if I zoomed. Of course I have a lot of duds - I always click just after the bird turns away.
Liz. This is a brief how to do a tour. If it does not work do not worry, it just may take more work, I am assuming you have broadband which is required..
Close other applications not required, to save memory. Tour uses a lot.
Open GE, go to HELP/check for updates online.
if up-todate, fine, if update needed do the update. Re-open GE if reqd.
In the sidebar, in My Places, under L G Ospreys, uncheck the birds, all except one, say Mallachie with two checks one for the path and one for the bird symbol.
Left click, on the LG Osprey heading, it will turn blue, right click on it and then select refresh, this should clear the data, leaving only Mallachie, in GE as an active file.
Look at the bottom of My Places and there should be a horizontal bar with a slider and a box at the end on the right.
Hover the cursor over the box and it will display 'Play Tour'
At this stage, if there is no slider, then we will have to follow different instructions to get it added.
Assuming it is there OK we can continue, Click the play tour box and then wait for about 20 seconds and the tour controls should appear at the foot of the screen.
To play the tour, click the play arrow, again you have to wait a short time as the tour loads.
With Mallachie it starts at LG and the image which will be in 3D, starts spinning as she flies around and around, which you will soon get fed up with.
Go to the slidebar and click and hold onto the button and carefully drag it to the right, if you go too far you can push it back again.
This allows you to jump forward in the tour, to whichever part you want to see. To follow the whole path would take several hours, as the time is displayed in minutes below.
I hope you can follow the above, any queries please come back.
