Up until yesterday, this was pretty much the only view we'd had of the Manchester peregrine nest:
Was she sitting on eggs, and if so how many?
Well, a little past lunchtime yesterday, our female went off to (we guess) get something to eat, and look what she left behind!
Yes - four eggs!
Fingers crossed we see four bundles of fluff in the not-too-distant future.

Exciting news just in - the female goshawk at Cwmcarn Forest is sitting on the nest and has two eggs.
This is a week earlier than last year, and egg-cellent timing for the start of the project this weekend!
Sticking to the theme of returning birds - last Thursday saw the return of the male osprey to Glaslyn.
Having spent the winter in West Africa, he's made the long journey back to his usual haunt for the eighth year in a row.
The viewing site is now open to visitors until the end of August. There's a live video feed from the nestcam onto a TV screen in the visitor centre - giving you great flap-by-flap footage of the osprey family.
