As the communities have been down most of the week, we thought this would be a great chance to catch you up on our latest baby news:
Following on from our record breaking first chick, Glaslyn ospreys now have three little bundles of joy. To find out more check out the Glaslyn osprey blog.
Unfortunately, there'll be no eagle chicks for Frisa and Skye to rear this year. But don't worry, trips to the Eagle Hide are still running. For more info, click through to the Mull blog.
After hearing about the sparrowhawk nest raid in Edinburgh and then the failure of the Mull eagle nest, we were concerned that bad news was going to come in threes for our Wrexham peregrines. The eggs had passed their hatching date and we feared the worst. The nest was last checked three weeks ago and there was no sign of hatching, and our local ornitholigist thought there may be something wrong. North Wales police haven't been able to check their nestcam to see if anything has changed because of a problem with the feed, so we've been on tender hooks all week! Luckily North Wales police managed to check the footage from the nestcam earlier this week and it looks like we have chicks! Not sure how many yet, but we'll keep you posted.
