This week is your last chance to see the Manchester peregrine chicks. Since they fledged back in June, they've been busy taking lessons from mum and dad on how to fend for themselves, but once they've learnt the necessary survival skills, they'll be off to make their own way in the world. The team will be in Exchange Square in Manchester city centre every day this week until the final hurrah on Sunday 17 July, so come on down and see the chicks whilst you still can.

If you can't manage to get to Manchester in person, don't worry. We've put together a show reel of the best bits from the web cam over the last few months. You can see a snapshot of peregrine family life, from laying from fledging, by clicking here.

It's not just been a great year for the peregrines, the team on the ground have had a fab time too. Joanna Keene, our peregrine guru, said "The Manchester Peregrine's have had a tremendous year this year. We'll be sad to see them go, but we're so pleased that all four chicks are healthy, becoming independent and ready to start their new lives across the UK.  The addition of the webcam this year has been a fascinating insight into the world of nesting peregrines, and has proved captivating viewing!"
