After a couple of weeks of waiting, visitors at Borth beach have finally caught sight of the amazing spectacle of 10,000 Manx shearwaters in a feeding frenzy, stocking up their preserves for the long journey back to South America. The flock is regularly spotted up and down the coast around Cardigan Bay, but it's the first time it's been spotted at Borth beach since our Date with Nature kicked off last month. On days when the flock hasn't been spotted, there's still been great views of smaller numbers of Manx shearwaters and gannets diving for a fish supper.
