Join the team at Gillingham Riverside Country Park this February half-term to watch the spectacle of birds feeding on the Medway estuary mud.
During the winter the Thames and Medway estuaries attract some 250,000 birds which spend the winter here. Expect to see dunlin, redshank, shelduck and grey plover plus wigeon and teal. At high tide keep a look out for seals.
You'll get to watch all these birds through telescopes with the help of our Medway local group volunteers. We'll also be running activities for children.
Go on, you know you want to join in the fun.
