It's been all about the birds on this blog over the last few months, but our Date with Natures are about more than just our feathered friends. Take our Date with Nature at Leighton Moss for example, where the stars of the show are the beautiful red deer that call the reserve home. Pop along between 12 and 5 from Thursday to Monday for a chance to spot these majestic beasts (and their adorable calves!). The Visitor Centre is open from 9:30 and there's plenty of other things to see and do around the reserve so why not make a day of it? We've even got regular deer walks on Monday and Friday evenings.
