Baby birds are cute (well once they've got all their feathers at least), but waterbirds have to have the cutest chicks ever. Baby moorhens look like little black pompoms on legs, little great crested grebes looking like oversized mint humbugs and I don't even need to tell you how adorable cygnets are. And they're still adorable as they get a bit bigger and learn to fend for themselves. That's why our newest Date with Nature is set up next to the lake at Leeds Castle to show visitors the different birds feeding, flying and splashing about with their young. We're there everyday from today until 2 September, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm so come along and get your daily dose of cuteness.
