Lakeland's fish breathe easy for another year
.....and we've packed away our telescopes, as the Lake District ospreys that have kept us entertained over summer, have now left us. The Lakes Osprey Project finished on 31 August. And, for the first time during the project, we had no ospreys to show anyone, which goes to show our project timings...

Plenty of peregrines
It's been a busy old week on the peregrine front. The Chichester Cathedral peregrines got off to a great start on Wednesday with two baby wood pigeons making a surprise appearance after toppling out of their nest (both were fine in the end) and then another male came in to try his luck yesterday...
