best i could do, only got about five swan pics! all my pics are taken on auto as i dont know whee to start using the manual settings, biggest prob with my camera is focus is the only thing not manual only auto?! paul.

Yes I do love Swans - I never tire from snapping them or looking at other folks images of them.
Yours are very good and shows the river meandering swan in the first photo and the battleship charge in the second. Keep them coming.

hi richard, thanks, i liked the way the foreground almost 'frames' swan. my camera is a fuji finepix s1730, little more than a bulky compact really as i wouldnt have a clue how to use a 'proper' camera like yours, though i would like to. it has manual overrides but as i say i dont know how to do it. has some handy features like video capture, 10 frames per second in machine gun mode, built in flash. 12megapixels & 14xzoom make it a one stop shop all in one little package, ideal for a total-know-nothing-about-photography-beginner like me! paul.
