Thanks Aiki.
Linda. I was there a little over two hours each day. that was as much as I could take with the cold. I was wearing thick soled boots but my feet were frozen standing in ice and mud. I had to smile though when a young lady came past wearing those thin ballet pumps that are fashionable , with no socks either LOL.
I know nowt :)

What a magnigicent sight, love all the photos, especially the yellow hammer, we used to get loads here on Anglesey about five years ago, but sadly have vanished now. I do miss their song as I walk the dogs down the lane.
Lot to learn
Cracking stuff Galatas! You are definitely up on me as I'm still waiting for my first KF pictures....and a yellow hammer!!!!...some people!!... :)
I take my hat off to you for waiting it out as I spent two hours in our local wood today and that was cold enough without the ice!! LOL
Well done mate and thanks for sharing them with us.

Thankyou
If there's one thing I have in abundance it's patience , but not much else.
The kingfisher photos are all so good. I've never seen one so am really envious. Thank you
I really like all of your KF shots, they prove that patience is a virtue. :-)
You are lucky to see a Yellowhammer too, I've only ever seen one for a quick glimpse, at a long distance through my bins, before it flew off.
Best wishes Chris

Woodpecker I really like all of your KF shots, they prove that patience is a virtue. :-)
I'm ashamed to admit it's my one and only virtue :(
Well done with the kingfisher photographs. Lovely natural shots.
The more time you put in the more rewards you get in this game.
So pleased for you as its a great feeling to actually achieve something you set out to do.
