http://www.dorsetwildlifetrust.org.uk/owl_nestbox.html have a look at these, barn owl has 6 eggs and think tawny has 5 eggs now. i have to keep having a peek they really are beautifull.bob and brenda the barn owls and twitt and twoo the tawny owls

Have just been watching the barn owl,how lovely. She was having a little snooze at first but then she woke up,had a good stretch and fluffed up her feathers, so I got a glimpse  of the eggs before she settled down again..Wonderful. Bob must have been out hunting. Thanks for that trishy I will definately be watching their progress.Will check out the Tawny,s too...along with watching the Buzzard nest at Arne. No time for housework now LOL.

Been watching both nests on and off today. Barn owls been very sleepy. Not seen Mr Tawny at all yet and Mrs Tawny went out a while ago so maybe he had,nt brought her any dinner. Hope he is ok. That damn feather in front of the lens is really annoying so hope it gets blown away soon.

Just been watching the Barn Owl video its brilliant to watch, Mrs barn owl has certainly got a few eggs there in the nest, I will keep checking to see how they get on, thanks!!

i have been watching the barn owl and tawny owl webcams and rest assured mr tawny has come back safe and sound

thanks i will take a look, i like tawnies one of my fave owls the north wales owl trust had brought along some owls at the llangollen international eistedfodd grounds and i was allowed to hold a tawny that made my day lovely bird did not mind me stroking it

My favourite of the owls too. Lets hope that feather caught on the camera blows away soon and we can see whats going on more clearly.

yes its really annoying, do you have tawnies where you are i have heard them in my local area so one night i decide to find out where the tawnies are, and i found them they were somewhere nearly a mile from my house i had a go at imitating a tawny to be honest i did not think i was convicing enough but the tawny did respond. the feather is nearly gone lets hope it goes.

Yes I hear tawny,s in the trees behind where I live.. Did you see the chick when she popped out for a while? Luckily the feather moved enough to give a good view.

yes i saw the chick and heard it very cute. i have been watching my own camera nest box these are sparrows the female might lay its eggs soon

Two Tawny chicks now, one more egg left to hatch.

Just seen the two Tawny Owl chicks when Mrs tawny owl left the nest , she has just returned now. Have not seen Mr Tawny yet, will keep watching, brilliant, hope the third egg hatches soon1!
