My friend and I were down the Cardiff Bay Wetlands reserve again on Saturday and we photographed this adorable Great Crested Grebe with her one little baby chick! Just how beautiful are they?! It was lovely to watch the parent diving down and bringing up lots of food for her chick to eat. I took some films of that.

Absolutely gorgeous photos Ella. Don't the adults look on adoringly at their chicks! I love the ones of the little heads poking out of the mother's feathers.
